I was greeted by every employee I came across! Every single one was beyond polite and helpful! They literally brightened my whole day! I’ve been to this store 3x since we moved here and they’re the best!
looking for a better buy? – Yo, so checked the in-store stock status of an anime DVD (the one featured in my profile pic). bestbuy's website said that the Portage location had it in-stock so I called the store and the guy who I talked to was really cool and nice and he said 'yeah, I can hold your Strawberry dvd until the close of tomorrow'. I had Best Buy install a speaker system in my '04 Honda Civic. I used to work in the industry, but didn't have time for this particular project. However, I was greatly pleased with the job they did. Fast, great customer service, and much cheaper than Dashworks.
Best Buy is my choice anyday! The employees at this store are great! They answered all of my questions and went above and beyond to get my situation taken care of. Sometimes it takes awhile to get help but that's what happens when you have 10 people looking for computers and 5 employees working that time! They tough it out well!
Best Buy is not customer friendly I had terrible experience with a best buy store manager and a person from the geek quad in Portage, MI. I bought a desktop computer in February and less than five month later, the hard drive went bad. The told me it would take a week to figure out what was wrong and almost a month to fix it. The manager even said, "We don't make it. Dell makes it and we just sell it." Then he said, "There's no guarantee (the the computer will work), that why you buy the warranty." I'd shop there if I had absolutely no choice Best Buy is the survivor of the Best Buy/Circuit City battle for the electronic and gaming dollar in Kalamazoo. Circuit City lost. Like a lot of big box stores, there is a decent amount of selection. But, when I was looking for a mp3 player for a niece, I saw Best Buy did not carry iRiver brand. I have had some bad experiences with trying to return items. It seems there is always a feeling in the air of "you're guilty until proven innocent". This store needs to focus more on the customer experience.
