After a long day at work, it's so refreshing to be greeted with a warm smile at Beryl's Pepper Pot in Ajax. It doesn't matter if Denisha is working the cash register or getting the meals together at the pick-up window, she always acknowledges the customers in a welcoming and pleasant manner. One of my favorite jamaican places to eat. On weekends they have the jamaican sweet potato pudding and cornmeal pudding and it's amazing, just like back home. My only criticism of this place is that they need a location closer to the west. I am in Oakville and it's a long drive to get here to get this delicious food, but it's worth the drive though. God bless.
Oxtail tough and pure bone, jerk chicken on the lunch special didn’t really taste like jerk and chicken wasn’t fully cooked. Should have gotten white rice and not rice and peas could hardly eat it. The lady at the front was not warm at all, and I even tipped her. If unhappy and dealing with customers work in the back at least. I will try again.
