Oxtail tough and pure bone, jerk chicken on the lunch special didn’t really taste like jerk and chicken wasn’t fully cooked. Should have gotten white rice and not rice and peas could hardly eat it. The lady at the front was not warm at all, and I even tipped her. If unhappy and dealing with customers work in the back at least. I will try again.
They must have changed the cook post pandemic. The red peas soup, you can count the peas with long water. The meats are heavy on the salt. This use to be a great spot for weekend breakfast and take out dinner.
I had a very nice experience with the cashier at Danica(tall girl lol). She served us with a smile and was very polite and genuine. I also ordered the rice and peas with oxtail gravy, and the food was lovely.
