Honest and fair priced – I took my 95 chevy 4x4 truck in to Gene Brown on Old Perrin Beitel about three months ago. The problem was that the transmission would only shift into second and stay there. I feared taking it into a shop that may brush over a simpler fix only to charge for a complete rebuild. Berts Gene Brown is a great place. My car broke and they gave me a free tow and free diagnostic of the problem, and on top of that they gave me a car to use until the problem was fixed free of charge!!!! It was a great experience, and the price wasn't too expensive. I am sure I could of found a cheaper job somewhere in town, but the quality of work on the honesty of the shop was worth every penny!
