I would like to highly recommend DR Kaper. The work he does is great. I had a total hip replacement and everything from the laser straight incision to the hardware placement, that was all great. However he and his staff dropped the ball with my pain management! I have dealt with chronic pain for over 20 years! He was only interested in treating me like everyone else and did not listen to me and my concerns! Finally returned a call after having to post this review. Three stars could have been five. This office cannot and will not return a call for the life of them. So, if you have questions or need further assistance post op you are on your own and SOL!
Sherry Booz NP has a terrible bed side manner. She did not even bother to put anything on my rash, she did not even touch it or address it other then saying it is probably something I put on myself or that the hospital painted me with. When I advised I used nothing different and the rash was there immediately from surgery she just said well next time let them know ahead of time. Then she said Dr. Kaper does not determine how many days of physical therapy I need it’s all up to the PT. I asked who sets up PT and she said you d... read more

I am a nurse practitioner and I know the good, the bad and the ugly of orthopedic surgeons in the Prescott Arizona. Dr. Kaper is the best. He has replaced both my knee and my wife's knee and we are both very happy with the results. No knee pain and full function of our knees without limitations of our ability to walk, stand or perform our daily activities. He is a master of his trade.
