I only gave one star because I had to. My boyfriend is physically disabled, he has cerebral palsy, spina bifida, scoliosis, and hydrocephalus. He has had 47 surgeries in the 45 years he has been alive. He had fallen in August 2024, which cause the hip socket to break, leaving his hip "chronically dislocated". We went in to see Dr. Kaper to see about getting a total hip replacement, which he said he would do, but he had a stage 4 (healing) pressure ulcer on his bottom, and it needed to be healed before the surgery, due to the... read more
My previous Dr. recommended injections etc and "in the future perhaps you'll need a knee replacement." Dr. Kaper looked at the x-rays and said, "your knee is bone on bone now, you're a candidate for partial knee replacement now if you want it." I wanted it and 3 months later I have no pain, and I'm back to hiking!! Great care, great follow-up.
I would like to highly recommend DR Kaper. The work he does is great. I had a total hip replacement and everything from the laser straight incision to the hardware placement, that was all great. However he and his staff dropped the ball with my pain management! I have dealt with chronic pain for over 20 years! He was only interested in treating me like everyone else and did not listen to me and my concerns! Finally returned a call after having to post this review. Three stars could have been five. This office cannot and will not return a call for the life of them. So, if you have questions or need further assistance post op you are on your own and SOL!
Sherry Booz NP has a terrible bed side manner. She did not even bother to put anything on my rash, she did not even touch it or address it other then saying it is probably something I put on myself or that the hospital painted me with. When I advised I used nothing different and the rash was there immediately from surgery she just said well next time let them know ahead of time.
