I'm updating my review again higher to 4 stars. I had a bit of a disappointing experience, but in the end they worked with me and took care of it. The workmanship was never the issue, the work done looks great. The communication was the problem for me. Lesson learned for me: Don't rely on timely communication but to be proactive and stay on top of the project and your contact person. I'm updating my review higher and hope to do so again soon. I had a disappointing experience, but they are working with me and making it right. I'm optimistic that everything will be resolved soon and I can be proud of the project.
I've had a very disappointing experience with Bertog. Robert, my landscape architect, has barely communicated with me throughout the project. I'm now nearly a year since starting the process and still not complete as I'm unable to get answers on why I'm being charged more than my contract, for work that was not done.
I am still waiting on your estimate, which was supposed to take 2-3 days and now is over 10 days over due! Don’t waste my time and yours!
Bertog is the best landscape company. Alex has helped me with all the plantings that I have needed. He has given me great advise about preventing the rabbits from eating all the hostas and newly planted eponymous. The winter pruning last year was outstanding. The pruning has stopped erosion, and the bushes have grown fuller and healthier. Leaf mulching (which I have never done) has made all the trees, bushes and plants much healthier. Thank you, Bertog
