For such a small town the rec center is amazing great indoor and outdoor facilities.
If you want your kids harassed at every turn by the lifeguards for the most petty things, this is the place for you. Otherwise, maybe try Longmont’s recreation center….We have always gotten a pass for the Longmont and have never had a problem, but this summer we decided to try Berthoud. What a huge mistake!!!! These lifeguards are ridiculous, from harassing my 15-year-old in the hot tub because they don’t believe that he is 15 (after I told them that yes, my son is fifteen their head lifeguard had the nerve to go ask my son ... read more
