I have undoubtedly found a lawyer that is truthful, to the point, but yet understanding. Kellie knows the value of family which showed when I had her take my case with my 14 yr old son. She delivered everything that she promised. I told her what I wanted to happen and she delivered to the "T" what was asked of her and beyond! Kellie is the best attorney I have found in the Jefferson City area. She is completely honest and lets you know what your chances are of winning your case before you start to proceed with filing the case. She has helped me understand exactly what the papers are and what they say. I hired Kellie due to a relative highly recommending her. Without getting into too much detail, i had a custody issue that in itself was a stressful ordeal. She was upfront with possible outcomes, possible costs, and very communicative throughout the whole process. While i hope to never have to go through that ordeal again, i am thankful to have her as my attorney as she made the whole process alot less painful and stressful as i expected.

Kellie Bertels was my attorney for my divorce case and did an excellent job! I highly recommend her to anyone! She was understanding, gave great advice, direction & got me exactly what I wanted. CAUTION!!! – I hired this attorney and paid her 1,000 for a divorce case and she wanted 5,000 more to continue...was married over 25 years and I got nothing. Heard she knew his attorney well and she knew I did not have 5,000 to continue. I already gave him the house, furniture, etc..was only fighting a pension that by law I was entitled to being married 25 years..I got NOTHING!!! AND...day of court..we were not even on the docket!!! VERY VERY POOR!!! Find someone that will look after YOUR interest not hers!
