We joined Berrybrook Steam & Classics for the Traction Engine experience day and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. In the morning we learned preparing the engine: cleaning the smokebox, lighting the fire, oiling the mechanisms, etc. The morning was a bit slow, waiting for the engine to come up to steam, but we also enjoyed admiring all the other vehicles in the store's collection and having our steam questions answered by our knowledgeable instructor. A very good friend of mine suggested I call Matt at Berrybrook Steam to sell my 6" scale Traction Engine. That I did and was very impressed with his straightforward, knowledgeable and honest approach, especially with the market in its current state.
