Great selection I like this store even though the prices are a little on the high side. They have a great selection and tons of flyers for events happening throughout the county.
Adventure 16 Adventure 16 is a great store for folks that enjoy the outdoors. They carry camping, backing and climbing gear as well as a large selection of books and clothing (many high end brands). Employees are very knowledgeable and willing to answer questions. They often offer seminars and host travel experts for presentations. There are multiple locations in southern California.
Very Informative Staff and Wonderful Selection I was invited to go on a two week hiking trip this summer, and decided to go into Adventure 16 to get all the necessities. The staff was extremely informative about all the questions I had in regards to sleeping bags, jackets (windproof), gloves, and even utensils. The Best Adventure Travel Gear Store in LA I have been a loyal Adventure 16 customer for several years. This place has a great selection of adventure travel gear, clothes, books, gadgets, etc. They carry Patagonia, Mountain Hardware, Moonstone, North Face, etc. It's the perfect place to go if you need anything from mosquito netting for that trip to Nicaragua or a great safarii hat for when you find yourself in Tanzania. Everything You Need for a Good Camping Trip We are just amateur campers and had to get the whole gear but had no clue what we needed. They help us figure out what the basics were we really needed and didn't recommend any extra stuff. Great service and great selection.
