My dad's cat was gone for 2 months. He got away while they were here from FL. He needs a heartworm check and flea medicine, but they can't walk out to car & do a blood draw? This vet won't take new clients because they are afraid of a virus with a 99.9% recovery rate. They don't care about animals or their reputation. Maybe you shouldn't be in healthcare if you scare so easily! After just moving back from Chicago, this is good to know. I will never use them for my pets.
RecommendedThey have been a part of the community for many years as well as providing care to our pets for years. Dr. Birney is a compassionate and experienced vet and cares about her clients. A vet tech Shannon is very helpful and caring as well. I'm comfortable with the care my pets receive. Not really liking the curbside stuff, I’d rather see my dogs get a shot then to not know what’s happening on the inside. There’s one doctor and one receptionist that I absolutely love there, but unfortunately my new puppy got a brand new doctor and I wasn’t even allowed to meet him, before they took my puppy in, my other dog she’s 3years old, does not like other people what so ever and they have to drag her inside to get shots or checked out. Horrible experience with this new staff. Long time client of Dr. Johnson but as soon as the other staff began to take over, there has been a significant notice of change in rapport and happiness. Staff seems to be stressed out, unfriendly, rude, terribly disorganizedand and the care has declined as it seems they only interested in running any and every test they can with the undertone “to make sure we are not liable”.
