Thought it was quaint last time. This time, they didn’t tell me the bar restaurant would be closed when we booked a dinner reservation before arriving. I get that weddings bring big bucks but being a second-class citizen to it bothers me. Room on the second floor? Up 5 flights of stairs went my bad hips and sore joints. This place is old: no elevators, no refrigerators in the room, stains in the carpet. They do tell you in advance no elevator. People working there are nice. Free overnight parking. Really nice stay. Bath tub really needed an update but room was clean and the staff was great.
Outstanding service and food! Scott Cutaneo from Uproot and Le Petit Chateau has joined David Burke at The Bernards Inn (Red Horse) and The Bernie! I highly recommend the Foie Gras… Drinks are really good.
