Dr Schayes is a thief and scammer of Medicare. He is in cahoots with G&I Ortho Supply Inc.
After waiting for my appointment for 10 days and have it rescheduled to coming week by the office, I accidentally learned (when I called in to confirm the time of the new appointment) that Dr. Schayes is in fact concierge doctor and that I would be charged yearly fees of up to 2500$ on top of my insurance if I visited him. This information is nowhere to be found on the internet. We were referred to the doctor by another specialist upon some abnormalities in tests results and we lost valuable time.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I went in for a routine physical (which was fine) but was given and billed for a blood test that I did not ask for. I have spent the last 6 months calling and emailing the doctor's office to reverse/recode the charges with LabCorp. Each time they tell me they will do so but I keep getting invoices and now LabCorp is threatening to send my bill to collections which will negatively impact my credit score.
Dr.Schayes is the most caring person I have ever met.
