I have been under Dr Lemams care for 4 years. At the initial appointment he took time to do a thorough family history & medical review. He adjusted the plan accordingly to add a colonoscopy. This resulted in findings & surgery that essentially saved my life. He continues to demonstrate the same care at each follow up. He explains med options thoroughly. I totally would & have recommended Dr Leman.
I have seen some negative reviews of Dr. Leman but I listen more to the energy around the doctors than bedside manner. Dr. Leman felt very confident and professional. He isn't the most charismatic but he knows his job very well. I appreciate he took the time to see me before AND after the procedures. He may have been a "straight to work" kinda guy and not someone who put me at ease but the anesthesia did that for me. Dr. Leman was the most qualified to handle this procedure and he did very good work.
I had to be switched to him because I needed an adult doctor. He was good at first when remicade had me in remission for eight years. Now, he is not very detailed in explaining things to me. Only gives me two options for new medicine. I had to switch because my medicine stopped working and it became poisonous. He makes jokes and acts like he knows how I feel. Horrible. Worst physician care. Makes jokes at your expense and his medical assistant who calls herself a nurse laughs along with him. Wants to do high dollar testing when there’s no need. Never ever recommend him to anyone. Or this office. Trying to be a responsible person and pay your copay- gets sighs and eye rolls- despite there being a sign to pay your copay st time of visit.
Worst bed side manner I have ever experienced in my life. After my colonoscopy today my grandma was trying to ask questions about my diseases and he basically said this isn't time for a consultation i have other patients to see. And was extremely rude. Also anytime I call to ask his nurse Kelli a question she acts like I am the most annoying person in the world. I have never felt so belittled in my entire life. After today I rate him a complete zero and recommend him to nobody!
Dr. Leman was the first doctor to really take an interest in finding a medical care plan that suited my life. My case was trying at times, but he made adjustments as needed, and was willing to continually try new treatments in the hope of avoiding surgery. He made me feel comfortable and cared for. He has a to the point demeanor and in my case it was necessary and refreshing. I trusted him from day one and am so glad I was referred to him.
