I went into this C&P exam blind. I didn't have a diagnosis and never went to see a doctor like 95% of soldiers. This doctor (lol) dismissed my problems and blamed my cushy civilian job and tech school (as unspecified anxiety) and not the you know deployment to a war zone in the US Army. And she completely undervalued my symptoms and downright dismissed them. A week later I talk to a psychiatrist and get diagnosed with PTSD, Panic disorder, generalized anxiety and social anxiety. My C&P exam with Dr. Dorr went very well. She made me feel comfortable with giving the information she needed to complete her evaluation. I did not feel rushed and I believe she was thorough. My entire appoint ran over an hour.
I am a veteran who went to a C&P exam to unfortunately have her conduct the exam. She didn't listen to anything I said, nor any of the proof I bought along. The exam was rushed, only asked a few questions, and had me circle some things on a sheet of paper. That was it. That was the entire exam. I can't speak for everyone's experience, but what she did was not an assessment. If she's your examiner, CALL TO GET A NEW ONE.
