Angel the owner was great and very helpful with picking out things like substrate, plants, and fish! Very helpful and knowledgeable with a great selection of fish. I definitely will keep coming back here!
This is honestly one of my favorite spots in Ventura. The tanks are always clean, the fish look really healthy, and the whole place just has a really calm vibe. The owners/staff are super knowledgeable and actually take the time to explain things and make sure you leave confident, whether you’re a beginner or already into the hobby. Went in yesterday 20 mins before closing, and despite that the staff was very helpful and friendly. Never made us feel rushed and answered any questions we had. We needed fish for our new tank and they took their time helping us figure that out. Very knowledgeable and you can tell they care well for their stock. Went above and beyond and even let us pick the specific color and sex of the shrimp we were getting. Would recommend to anyone looking for a new addition or recently starting their own tank!
