When we purchased our 2019 kia sorento we were told not only were inspections free for the life of the vehicle but were also free for other vehicles in the household. Due to apparent "Corporate changes" this is no longer true, even if it was promised when you purchased the vehicle. When questioned about the ethicality, little concern was shown by the service advisor. To make matters worse the inspection fee is now $30, which is apparently all it takes to buy this companies loyalty to their customers.
These guys always do their best to get me in and out in a very timely manner. They are also very patient and welcoming of my toddler who comes along with me for services, I always feel at home and taken care of. They also don't try to upsell and haggle me which I very much appreciate. Prices are very reasonable too! And who doesn't love a complimentary car wash after a vehicle service?! Won't go anywhere else.
I had a terrible experience at Berlin City Kia and will never purchase another vehicle. This is my third and final car from this brand. It feels like the company is more focused on making money than on its customers. They have designed their vehicles so that their service stations can repair them. As a 100% disabled veteran, I was disappointed that instead of offering a free inspection for two dashboard lights that occasionally come on while driving, they wanted to charge me $170. Manager Sylvester saved this new vehicle deal. Sales staff friendly but lacked sales ability. I was there to buy a car and they nearly turned me in to a shopper. I can not speak more highly of their SM Sylvester.
