Houston has a PROBLEM! I have to get it off my chest. Years ago, I lived at a Dallas Berkshire community, with an outstanding experience. I’ve been waiting for months to receive my deposit, and despite multiple attempts to get in touch with corporate, I’ve received no response whatsoever. Communication from on-site management has been minimal and misleading at best—they’ve repeatedly claimed the check was mailed, yet I’ve never received anything. I’ve never missed a single piece of mail at my residence, but somehow this check has allegedly been "lost" three times? Terrible company with poor management! Management does not support staff and does not offer resources such as help to succeed in this company
I moved out of a Berkshire property over a year ago and now as I am trying to rent a home I found out they are claiming I owe over 1,600. I owe them nothing. Every monthly payment was given on time and move out fees were paid as well. This is outrageous. No answer from anyone at the apt complex except that I have to speak with corporate, but corporate seems to not exist as I have yet to receive a call back. They have ruined my rental history so I will be making this a legal matter.
