I just found out that my fibroids were not taken out five years ago. I started bleeding.during the surgery, but Dr. Benner never bothered to let me know that he did not complete any of the work. He removed zero fibroids. There was no follow up communication to inform me of the outcome of the procedure. I cannot tell you how floored I was this year when I learned I still had the same four fibroids! My struggle with anemia would have looked very different had I known all this time.
I VISITED HERE FOR THE FIRST TIME ON 1/22/26, A FEW WEEKS AGO BECAUSE I HAD AN APPOINTMENT TO GET A PROCEDURE DONE. VERY CLEAN ESTABLISHMENT! NICE RECEPTION AREA AND THE LADIES WERE KIND.. THE MED ASSISTANT WAS NICE TO ME TOO! I ACTUALLY KNOW THE OBGYN FROM ALMOST TWENTY FIVE YEARS, BE AUSE SHE DELIVERED MY DAUGHTER.. WE HAVE HISTORY! DR SERVICE IS WONDERFUL!
The practice overall is adequate for basic medical care but if you have the opportunity to go elsewhere for an obgyn or midwife, do. Jessica Grant is an awful provider--poor communication to no communication, messes up tests and labs, is not able to answer basic medical questions around pregnant beyond a small scope of knowledge you could google. Today I had a visit with Dr. Grant and she is personally amazing. I would recommend her (and the Lenox office in general for its small, quiet, personal setting) to anyone. But…as my experience today was…to explain it in any other words besides embarrassing would be lying. It was completely embarrassing for MORE than one reason.. I had to take time to breathe to stop myself from crying multiple times. Jessica was non judgmental, sympathetic, and showed the utmost empathy for my situation and myself as A PERSON.
