I visited the outpatient center for rehab post the birth of both of my children. I cannot believe seeing a physical therapist post delivery is not standard practice in this country! Both therapists specialized in pelvic floor health and were extremely knowledgeable and professional. I had diastasis recti (abdominal separation), along with pelvic floor issues, and both therapists helped me get my body back faster than I could have ever done on my own. Can't be trusted. I work for this hospital system and was told my physical therapy would be included, then when I got a bill in the mail everyone denied ever having told me. And now they're trying to blame it on my insurance plan, even though I told them what I had and they assured me it was covered.
