Went online for my central ac. Said free estimate on page. Signed up for estimate on repairing my unit just to find that they couldn't repair mine because r20 freon. Wrote me up for replacing old . ONLY TO FIND OUT THEY CHARGED ME A $89 FEE FOR COMING OUT I'VE BEEN IN BUSINESS FOR FORTY PLUS YEARS AND NEVER ROBBED SOMEONE LIKE THIS. SO I RECOMMEND LOOKING ELSEWHERE FOR REPAIRS OR INSTALLATION. IF NOT HONEST IN THEJR WEB PAGE THEIR CROOKS!!!!

Technician was good and very quick to arrive. I understand the service call on a Saturday being $200, but typically any service industry company will make that part of the visit labor if they end up doing the work. Berkshire Air does Not. My issue is being charged $300 for a capacitor which is literally, in this case, a $70 part, which takes less than 15 minutes to swap out and test the system. Jose came today for central air maintenance check. He is a true asset to your company. He is friendly, polite and well versed in the unit’s workings. He explained well and answered all questions.

Had an urgent situation with our furnace fortunately we were able to hobble along but concerned a long cold night would be a problem John D came over and stabilized the situation just in time he spent plenty of time explaining in detail what was going on and the best approach going forward to prevent reoccurrence I always appreciate working with a professional and that’s exactly what happened John rocks we will be using Berkshire for all our HVAC needs in the future
