Family run shop. I combed through reviews in CT and NY, and Berkshire has top reviews for sales AND support after the installation. Friendly, knowledgeable. They answered my many questions (get a cat or a non-cat stove? etc.). Delivered earlier than expected. Very happy with our Pacific Energy Neo 2.5.
After researching 4 other insert companies in the area, it was clear Berkshire Hearth and Home had the best products, pricing AND customer service. Plus, they had the fastest turn around for installation. We had our wood insert installed and working in a week of ordering. Would recommend to anyone looking to upgrade their fireplace.
Berkshire Heath & Home did an amazing job replacing my electric fireplace. They had to remove the old one, which required demo of the stone work around the old fireplace, and then install the new, and they put up a new mantel and new stone, and the end result is beautiful. The whole process from start to finish was completed within a week. Grateful for their responsiveness, talented people, and great work!
