Not sure what's going on with those reviews from 6 years ago but I have never had issues with standard banking transactions or customer service. I opened my account over 15 years ago when it was CT Bank & Trust, which was taken over by People's Bank, then by Berkshire Bank, and now last year by Beacon Bank. I never had any issues with any of the transitions and my first set of checks still worked throughout. It didn't support Zelle for a bit but eventually did. Excellent customer service, we have them for our business and our personal banking and we could not be happier. Always ready to help and offer a friendly smile when we go into the branch.
I am surprised by some of the reviews. As a small business owner I shopped around and have tried different banks. Berkshire continues to deliver at a high level with excellent customer service.
Thought they were good for a bit, but they actually are terrible. Their policies are intolerable and their remote customer service phone representatives are condescending and rude. Avoid
