Amazing surgeon did mg broken ankle! I was able to get into him pretty quick . I was also 33 weeks pregnant and he did all his due diligence to make sure myself and baby were safe for surgery. No frills, answered all my questions and was a calming presence- I have never had a surgery like this & was very nervous. Highly recommend him!

I had been suffering with post traumatic ankle arthritis for over 30 years, I couldn't find a doctor to help me in Upstate NY. Doctor Berkowitz gave me my life back. It's been 2.5 years since my ankle fusion and I have NO PAIN and NO LIMP! It's a miracle. He is an expert in ankle surgery. I can't thank him enough!!!! Update - 8 years since ankle fusion. Still NO PAIN and NO LIMP! God Bless Dr. Berkowitz!!! Best decision ever!
I could not be happier with Dr Berkowitz. After years of on and off problems with my achilles tendon, things finally deteriorated to where I had constant debiltating pain and could barely walk. I interviewed a couple of Orthpods who specialize in foot and ankle issues. I settled on Dr Berkowitz and am extremely happy I chose him. The surgery went very well He shaved down the irregularities in my tendon and removed the bone that had caused the irritation.
