This store sells rancid meat. Bought 2 slabs of pork belly today. The sell by date is Oct. 28th. Over a month from now. I just opened them and almost threw up from the smell of them. This is now the 3rd time in the last month or 2 that we have bought meat from here that was spoiled well before the sell by date. Last time it was ribeye steaks. They turned green and slimy 3 days before the sell by date.
We have had our Swedish sausage order in for 3 weeks. We have confirmed with the location that our order was successful and would be ready for our Easter gathering with our family. Easter Sunday my mom goes to pick it up and they said that the order was never in. This is a family tradition that is ruined and my mother is upset. Also the employee didn’t take the circumstance into consideration and was disrespectful. Thanks Lockport Berkots

The deli in Lockport is really going downhill QUICKLY and NOONE SEEMS TO CARE INCLUDING CORPORATE AND THE STORE MANAGER!! Potato salad was made with hard potatoes— I ordered Italian beef shaved and the girl didn’t even know what that meant!! I got home a the beef was sliced as if I was serving a beef roast 😡. Ordered caprese salad and NOONE could eat it — tasted like you were eating PURE VINEGAR!! Pd 7.99 lb FOR THAT AND GOT 2 lbs!! Service was absolutely HORRIBLE at the Lockport location today! Rude to all the customers around me and very unprofessional! And nobody was social distancing - and it wasn’t enforced! I will be contacting corporate!

We buy all our meat at Berkots. We can depend on it being fresh and also a great price!
I would shop there more if their cashiers weren't so rude and short with people.
