After a several years of hearing testing the time has come for hearing aids. Berkeley Hearing has been fantastic in counseling me appropriately, and now the time has come. Dr. Gabriel explained my hearing loss thoroughly, answered all my questions and made it clear that is is part of an ongoing process of education-a partnership in helping me retain as much of my hearing and cognitive connections as possible. I feel secure and supported in this next phase. The office runs smoothly and everyone is exceptionally kind.
I called into Berkeley Hearing Center asking for an emergency fix for my hearing aids before jumping on a plane later in the day. From the office staff to the audiologist I could not have asked for more courteous nor prodlfessional service. I am not a patient as I live in Panama, nonetheless they saw me as a walkin, repaired my hearing aid and sent me on my way with plenty of time to catch my flight with my hearing restored. The care and attention at Berkeley Hearing Center is always exemplary. I would like to especially single out Gabriel Liboiron-Cohen who as an accomplished professional musician as well as a very skilled audiologist, is the perfect provider for a musician. As a composer and pianist who has in the past struggled with my adaptation to hearing aids I have been very grateful for his care, always sensitive and personalized which has transformed my ability to cope with my hearing loss, as a musician and a person.
Competence is a scarce commodity in this world. All to say that being in the presence of such smart, beaming, confidently competent people is such a blessing and relief. I went in with a bit of an ear ache and had a last minute ear wax removal procedure and it was fast and easy and affordable. Love the vibe inside, and the friendly atmosphere they create. Highly recommend!
Dr.Ramierz is simply the best. She helped me understand how important hearing aids would be for me. The whole process was seamless. And I love my hearing aids!
