Be extremely careful if you bring your pet here. My cat was hospitalized for a fever, and while they stabilized her temperature, they completely missed a developing anal gland rupture. Despite taking her rectal temperature every 2–4 hours while in their care, the medical team failed to notice or address a raw, visible sore in that exact area. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough that I felt I should share it. The technician I worked with was difficult to communicate with and showed little patience. My dog previously lived in China, and I only knew the name of his allergy medication in Chinese. Rather than giving me a moment to translate it, the technician simply left it off the record — meaning his current medication isn’t accurately documented. In September I took my dog here after an apparent seizure around 5am. Doctors were insistent that my dog had ingested marijuana even though no one in the household uses it. They told me he had tested positive for thc and said he should be fine in a couple days without showing us test results. After 3 days we returned after he had gotten worse and they advised us to see a neurologist. The neurologist stated he had a brain swell that would not have been related to marijuana.
