Gus and Nermine (sp?) at Computerland are my go to guys for almost any computer struggles I have. The most notable, when I took in my wife's malfunctioning Mac Book Air (I'm PC all the way) on a Friday afternoon, with a drop dead fixit date of the following Monday morning. They had a part Fedexed to them on Monday morning and the computer up and running by 11 am as we swooped in on our way to the airport. My Macbook kept crashing for no apparent reason, and in trying to fix it, I made it worse. It wouldn't even boot to OS. I took it to Computerland and those guys backed up my data and reinstalled MAC OS for a small fee. I would highly recommend them. A+ service
I called Toshiba technical support after my Laptop died on me, the "teck" from India made me try everything including making sure it is plugged into the wall, but no luck with that. Then he told me that I have to ship it to some warehouse in Texas and it takes 2 to 3 weeks. After I objected to that he finally told me to take it to ComputerLand in Berkeley, so I did. My Apple Macbook was completely dead, they changed systemboard at half the price I was to pay in the other store. They fix It fast and I was able to pick it up the next day. Now it runs as if it's brandnew. Those guys really know what they're talking about. I highly recommend them and I will visit them again for any feature computer problem.
