Awful company to work, specifically correspondence with a T. Schmidt the Claims Adjuster. This was the last leg of my interstate move from VA to CA in Nov. It started off bad with the pickup/packing company and ended with an even sloppier delivery on the destination end. North America really needs to vet their agents or brokers they use and not have the customer suffer and pay the price for cheap labor. The crew that loaded us was fantastic! This was the fastest load we've every had in all of our moves. We are hopeful to have the same group to unload us at our new home!
Excellent from start to finish. Everyone at the office was extremely helpful, especially Margret and Mindy. Mark, our driver, was great! Cannot express how easy he made everything. This move was as painless as a 1000 mile move could be. Thank you!
Horrible. Moved across country and they lost multiple items and almost drove off without unloading our piano. In the end, over thousand dollars of items lost. No responsibility taken by the company afterwards even after multiple claims made Despite contract agreement. Never use this moving company. I’ll be going through arbitration with them. What a waste of time.
These people are terrible! Over $10,000 in damages during move. We trusted they would handle our antiques with care they promised, over 30 pieces damaged. The did not cover damage to items they had us crate to avoid damages. Now part way thru claims process they won't answer e mails. They are terrible to deal with because they wil not communicate with you. Even the drivers could not get people at the office to answer their phones! Berger underbid our move by 9,000 pounds so move cost thousands more than estimate, right about $4,000! How do you plan for that? The do not itemize their invoices, just give a dollar amount and say Pay up now! Promised to empty our home in one day but did not finish until hours after we closed and no longer owned home. Move was understaffed and their employees grossly overworked. I was told i was "lucky" they don't charge by the hour. Do NOT trust what Berger Allied tells you in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota.
