I've been going for about 5 years. They are always thorough and professional. Fast and reliable. *UPDATE Berger Accounting took an unfortunate turn in the quality of their services. My fiance had also been going to them for years. They really let us down 2 years in a row. And for the season of 2024 taxes, my fiances taxes were held up in the system for a clerical error. Last year someone used this office to file a tax return on my behalf without my knowledge using a forged signature on the documents submitted. I only found out when the Illinois Department of Revenue sent me a letter saying my earnings couldn't be proven (cash claimed without a 1099, I'm assuming so tax credits could be claimed). While I believe the initial filing was likely an understandable oversight by this office due to covid restrictions and working through electronic communication, they have done very little to help me... read more
