I’ve been dealing with chronic sinusitis for a while and finally decided to go through with surgery with Dr. Lee. It was the best decision I’ve made. From the very first appointment he made me feel at ease. He listens and genuinely cares about your health as a whole. The surgery went great and my recovery has been really smooth. Unfortunately, I can only give our experience three stars. My husband saw Dr. Lee on April 1st, and we found him to be excellent—he listened carefully, explained everything thoroughly, and took his time during the appointment. He also informed my husband that his condition was severe and would require surgery, and that someone from the office would follow up with scheduling details and instructions. The doctors themselves are good—I’ve seen them before and had a positive experience. However, the scheduling process is extremely frustrating. I called to book an appointment and was told I would receive a callback. After waiting 24 hours with no response, I called again and was asked if I wanted to leave another message. When I asked about the expected callback time, I was told it could take days because they are busy. Excellent physicians but you’ll never see them. They make you wait 10 or 12 rings before they pick up, then someone tells you they’ll call you back to schedule an appointment, and that’s the end of your experience. Because you’ll never be called back. I got pissed by the disrespect so I called Hackensack Hospital’s Patient Experience office. I saw Dr. Inouye and he was great during my appointment. At the end of the visit, I was told that Sandy Calderon would contact me to schedule my surgery. It has now been over two weeks, and I have not been contacted. I have called the office multiple times and was told messages would be left for her to return my call.
