There's no water its completely empty! Was there about 2 weeks ago was completely full of water but gates were still closed.

Sometimes I feel like I grew up in the stone age when Berenda Reservoir was still called Chowchilla Lake. Regardless, when it is open, it is a great place for family picnics, swimming, and fishing. I never caught much here, but it was still fun to visit and drown a few worms.
