Terrible trades program; they tell you it counts towards you’re electricians license and gets you college credits only to find out the trades department isn’t properly accredited and isn’t actually an electricians program... and the job placements they help you with is 12-15 an hour with little chance of advancement...not even enough for you to pay back the student loans you pulled to sit in class while the teachers play on their phones.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS “SCHOOL”. They lie during the admission process THEY HAVE NO MEANINGFUL ACCREDITATION. YOUR TIME HERE WILL NOT MATTER TO EMPLOYERS. Before settling on this sad excuse of a school please google them and read real reviews- not those shown on Facebook.

I love fortis!! Best school ever ...nice and friendly stuff...they work really hard to help us with everything we need ...and what about the teachers Mrs.lurella, Mrs powasnick and Ms gina , they have all my love and respect
If you are every thinking of taking classes at Fortis Institute (Wayne)... DON’T! I have not been in that school for 2.5 years and I’m still dealing with their nonsense!! There administrative offices have got to be by FAR the most UNPROFESSIONAL staff I have EVER dealt with. It took them 4 weeks to get back to me on a MISTAKE they made and still my problem wasn’t rectified, and when I wanted further answers I was hung up on. UNBELIEVABLE !!!
By far FORTIS IS one of the best schools and very affordable!! The staff is very involved with their students! Job placement after graduation is very important to them and they have an exceptional success rate!! Remember; if you work hard you will succeed in life! If you just let things fall at the waste side you have nobody but to blame but yourself! Only You are responsible for you!! Stay on top of your classes, assignments etc and you will go places!
