It was a mixed experience working with Spencer. We hired him to demo our old and rotting deck and build a new one. For the foundation of the deck, he genuinely did a wonderful job. He wasn’t put in the best position to succeed. The engineer we hired was very bad (we didn’t know until it was too late unfortunately) and messed up several measurements, in particular for the slope of our concrete pad. We had a deck built recently and couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. He was honest, hardworking, and easy to communicate with throughout the whole process. What really stood out was his willingness to take on a more complex build and work around our existing awning, which other contractors weren’t open to. We would highly recommend Berbower Builds for your construction needs! He immediately identified our unleveled patio as he walked up for the estimate and provided a quick and more then reasonably priced solution to resolve the issue. He not only leveled and sealed our stone patio but he also constructed a sunshade over BBQ that looks AMAZING. We had our front porch deck rebuilt, it looks great! The workmanship is outstanding. It looks better than we expected.
Spencer and crew, did an amazing job on our deck. They were also flexible with our work/dog situation, and with changing plans mid--job! I would 110% recommend!
