I received an unsolicited open house invitation from this organization addressed to my late mother, who has been deceased for almost a decade. Neither of us had ever made contact with this company so I'm not sure how or where they got my mother's information, but I find it very distressing. It was a painful reminder that she is no longer here and she won't have the privilege to grow old. When Mom first had to go into transitional care at Sholom, we found the staff prompt and precise and knowledgeable of everything needing to be done. My mom tells me she couldn't be in a better place. When people complain about food, she reminds them.. they didn't have to cook it or do the dishes after.
