Edit 8-25-2026: They're increasing residential stormwater fees by 900% withoyt actually informing the public. The city meeting aboyt it was yesterday. They're increasing other fees too. They JUST got a serious increase approved. People, watch your bills. They're hardly even getting out of their vehicles now. They simply don't care about you or anything else except your money. No help with due dates, a half functioning billing system, and a seeming hate for being remotely compationate.

I have called them 5 times to schedule a temporary service shutdown so I could cut a tree that was leaning against my house AND my powerline. I was given 3 separate time and dates that they would show up and do it but they no showed every time. When I call the office the girls said my work tickets no longer exist even though they remember putting them in. EDIT 7-22-2026: Look at your bills and monitor your meters. These people are concealing double billing in higher temperature days. We tested our usage with fully accurate, CERTIFIED indoor meters installed by licensed professionals and it was nowhere NEAR what Benton Utilities is trying to claim. They're billing for this and next month into your current bill and then billing a second time for next month. Seriously, look at your bills and get monitors installed.
