So I contacted them and told them I could pay my bill on a certain later date due to having to take time off of work bc my dad fell terminal. I told them the website wouldn’t allow me to pay the bigger bill that showed on the site. Must have been a glitch on their end bc I exhausted all avenues online to pay what I could. I have to thank Benton Utilities for calling my wife yesterday 13-02-25 about seeing out water meter has been continuously running and found that to be abnormal ! We cut our errands short and went home to investigate, and we discovered our old toilet had gone south ! We shit it down and had our favored plumbers do a leak detection the next day and it was the toilet. So thank you to the people at Benton Utilities for your kind phone call to alert us to the issue !
1 star for being uncompassionate. Husband and I are being affected by the Federal Shutdown (going into its 6th week) and asking if we can delay a few of our bills a few weeks without penalty. Literally everyone has worked with us EXCEPT BENTON UTILTIES! Thankfully our emergency fund can pay, but you would think Benton Utilities would have some compassion towards locals in our unpreventable situation who have been diligent and faithful customers for 10+ years.
