Went on a tour of Benton House in Woodstock today. My mom and daughter were with me as we are looking for a place for my 92 year old stepfather. Our tour was provided by Kristen who is the Resident Service Director. She spoke to us from the care aspect of Benton House. We were so impressed with everything they do to provide constant care and attention for the residents. The facility seemed a little older, but my 88 year old mother found it very warm and inviting. Great homelike place to live with very kind staff! Very comfortable and nice kind staff!
I am so very happy I found Benton House for Mom. After Dad passed, Mom's health sharply declined and she became a recluse. A shoulder replacement recessitated a move from her house. Benton House has been a godsend since Mom walked through the door. The activities keep her engaged, she has made friends, and she especially enjoys anything planned by Sam, Benton House's wonderful Activities Director.
