The Benton House presents very well; however the care my parents received was filled with errors, shortcomings and ended with the resignation of the Executive Director. Upon his removal, things continued poorly. My father suffering from dementia, had his room moved without contact with family members, who visit regularly. This obviously caused my father’s mood to be altered. My father is legally blind, his glasses were misplaced for a period of time, wasn’t noticed until a family member visited.
