Had a great morning playing paddle tennis. Even if you can't play, like my friends and I, I would suggest giving it a go, we had great fun.
Good course nice clubhouse
5 stars to the green keepers for working on a shoe string. Golf course fairways are poor due to drainage work scars, although greens and 75 % of the tees are great.1 star for the management, only listen to members they want to listen to and fob the rest off. Also very expensive to be a golf member as they insist you have to have a gym membership. Looking to find another club where they listen to all members. Staff seem in a world of their own. Sadly, the poor relation to some of the other Club Company Clubs.
I have now left the club due to prices going up and my experience going down. I’m not a golfer and mainly used swimming pool spa and attended classes. The sauna had an overhaul and ended up worse than before … it looks tired and does not have a luxury feel anymore … the classes are good great instructors but too short and not enough of them. I’ve joined Virgin active it’s a lot cheaper, got a great vibe and loads of classes and equipment. My husband still goes but wants to leave, the staff were so unhelpful when he couldn’t ... read more
