Had an appointment booked for a week, they couldn’t accommodate an in office visit so I settled for a phone call. Appointment was at 2:30 they didn’t call so I call at 2:50, the secretary didn’t have my name, she couldn’t find my appointment information because the only organization they have is a wifi powered calendar. I have had Rebecca as my attorney for 8.5 years now and in those 8.5 years I have gotten everything I've asked for and more! She goes above and beyond for her clients. Very outgoing and honest. Definitely a bulldog in the court room and will fight until the end to make sure she does whatever she can. Has the best legal team out there between the other lawyers in the office and Tina the best paralegal around I couldnt ask for a better firm to stand behind me through custody, divorce, child support everything!
If you are looking for an attorney who will actively sabotage your position, ignore your calls, and hit you with predatory billing practices before abandoning your case, this is your guy. 1. Communication was little to non existent talking 6-8 weeks of her ignoring my emails also would not answer my exes attorney. 2. Refused to give me a record of what she did on my case despite me asking numerous times. 3. I am divorced now because I contacted my exes attorney for divorce papers & to let them know I was ready to settle they seemed under impression I wasnt. 4. Got incorrect paperwork multiple times further delaying the divorce. Overall just a really bad experience would not recommend Ms Smith.
If I could give 0 stars I would. My fiancé hired Matthew Kopecki for a very high conflict custody case. Worst communication I've ever experienced with a lawyer. We would have to call multiple times a day to be told 'he's busy, he'll call you by the end of the day' which was the pattern for days at a time before we finally received any response. I understand having multiple clients but come on, it takes a minute to respond to an email to answer a question, especially if we're constantly asking questions that are time-sensitiv... read more
