As the owner of one of the larger apartment locating firms in Dallas, I have been in the business for 15 years. My vehicle was towed due to construction but I received no prior notice whatsoever. No email, no text, and nothing in the resident portal. At first, the leasing office claimed I should have known because “it was in the portal,” which turned out to be false. I’m not sure what else to do to get the leasing office to help. The outdoor stairwell at our building seems to be deteriorating and the rebar is visibly rusted. This is a serious safety concern.
