Friend River baby!!!
The best place. My family loves everything about it. Wonderful, we will always book here when staying on the river. The best reservation, check in/out process ever.
Great spot on the Frio River! This location is paired with Oasis Rivers Edge Resort which is just up Rivers. If you are staying at either resort you can park one vehicle at Bent River, drive a second vehicle up to Magers crossing (which is basically at Oasis Rivers Edge) and then float down back to your vehicle at Bent River. The tube float from Magers to Bent River is about 1.5 to 2.5 hours depending on the River flow speed and if you decide to stop along the way.
We went on what we thought would be a 2.5 hour float that ended up being 4+ hours and were looking to exit the river early since we had a child with us. We found Camp Riverview and attempted to exit there. Staff were extremely rude and told us it would be $25 a person just to exit through our property. We got back in the river and staff at Bent River allowed us to exit their property where our family could pick us up at no charge.
