A Flower in the Desert It was dark, night had fallen on the valley. I discovered Bent Cover Books quite by chance, driving past at around 8:05 PM. They were closing but had no problem about letting me look around. That says a lot. In this region stores like to lock the doors and turn out the lights 15 minutes early. Wonderful store This is one of the bigger used bookstores in the Phx area. The store is set up in such a neat and unique way with little rooms hidden throughout. It even has a cute coffee shop in back. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff! I LOVE this place!
Great Writers Created Here I would say one of the most original book stores I have ever waltzed into. It has a maze like layout which gives it a mysterious appeal at first, you can get lost in all the random little rooms and aisles of huge shelving. Wow!!! Poor mans Borders... Super friendly people who where more than willing to help find a book for me!! They also have a coffee shop in the back and serve drinks like they do at Borders or Barnes and Noble!!!!!!! Really quite an orginal idea for a used bookstore.I highly recommend this bookstore, not only for the great selection and varitey of books but for the coffee!!
Great Book Store!!!! This is the best used book store in Phoenix area. It is well organzed and has a great atmosphere and employees are great. They have a cute 50's style coffee shop with great espresso drinks and teas, so you can relax and read or write. I highly recommend this store.
