We had a house falling down due to the owner removing the collar ties for some unexplained reason. With the assistance of a good engineer we came up with a design for a low budget solution (in terms of materials) for bringing the walls together to prevent the house from collapsing. Wayne at Benson Steel was great about ensuring that the construction diagrams were correct and matched the most accurate measurements we could give him. The steel was fabricated and installed within 14 days of initial contact with Benson Steel A+
Follow up to "anonymous", I would suggest that you need to pay your bills, stop spending money you do not have and stop blaming the people who had to correct problems for your incompetent "design professional." Furthermore - if any customers would like to review the cowardly claims made by "anonymous", please contact Kenneth Benson at Benson Steel. I'm sure this will be okay with Andrew B. Lastly, the public filing in the lawsuit for the unpaid contract amount is public record.
i usaed benson to do some work that a difrent steel shop had started and did a very bad job ken came in and fixed it helping us untill the very end of the job offten at no charge to us we would like to say thenks to ken benson and the guys at benson steel.
I had steel work done by Benson. They did terrible work damaging it as it was installed. However, worst is that Ken Benson is one of the most dishonest people I've done business with. He made up bills that were outside of the contract. He also went back on commitments. Stay away from Benson Steel and Ken Benson or you will regret it.
Benson Steel does not honor its contracts and conducts fraudulent billing. Do not work with them or you will regret it and be blackmailed by the owner Ken Benson to try and make you pay.
