I do not recommend Dr. Bensimhon for advanced heart failure care. He did a terrible job listening and corrdinating with our family in regard to our loved one’s care. According to the NC medical board, if a physician disagrees with the family’s choice of care they should discontinue their treatment (in accordance with their good conscience) but in a way that leaves the family the freedom to do what they think is best else where. This is not how our situation was handled.
He took excellent care of my husband for 12 years. We looked forward to seeing him. It was more like visiting a friend and not just a doctor.
Dr. Behnsimhon is the best. He is so caring and compassionate. He makes you feel like family. His entire team is one of a kind!
