Ben helped deliver and spread gravel around our house and even helped out with some of the grade before doing so. He and his daughter were awesome help. He was communicative, quick, and kind throughout the process. We’ll definitely be calling him back.
He had a 3 hrs. minimum cost of $750 even though it was a small job. Scheduled a time for 9-10 a.m., showed up 1:30. He didn't notify me of being delayed and even when I reached out to ask if he was still coming at noon, he stated he had a delivery he had to make, was on his way, but didn't show up for another 1 1/2 hours.
Quoted me a price of $4000. Did half the job and walked off, demanding I pay him $5200. Had a childish hissy fit and screamed "I want paid" before he would finish the job. Left me with an unusable driveway. He couldnt even get gravel truck on it! Filled up the original ditch, water flooding down the road, not in the ditch, to only flood cabin below with water and mud! Charged me for gravel he hauled to another job site! The most unprofessional, crooked, deceitful, inconsiderate, dishonest contractor I have ever encountered.
Ben did a fantastic job adding gravel to our driveway on a mountainside. I highly recommend him for this type of work. He was quick, fairly priced, and had great communication throughout the day. I'm not sure why someone would rate him a 1 star over pricing. That is unfortunate. Do not let that review deter you from hiring Ben. Great service, great pricing, and great work.
