Dr. Tonneau is my family doctor and has been for a long time. He is a knowledgeable physician, a caring person and a friendly human being. Wait time is very very short, and he takes his time and LISTENS, and has a sense of humor plus explains concepts if needed. He and his team are very responsive via the patient portal and happy to help.
I have been a nurse and nurse manager for forty years and have worked with countless number of physicians over my career. Dr. Tonneau is a highly competent, caring and compassionate internist. I have been going to him for five years and my typical wait time to be seen is approximately ten minutes. The staff is very professional, compassionate and caring and have always promptly responded to my inquires. The office is immaculate and comfortable.Urgent needs are promptly seen.
If I could leave 0 stars I would. He is the most unresponsive Doctor I have ever worked with. If they tell you "we will call you back", good luck. You will never hear from them, even if you call them to inquire about why you haven't heard from him. He doesn't care about his patients' worries or lives and he is incompetent as a physician.
Dr. Tonneau, has a very limited agenda when it comes to dealing with patients. His primary concerns appear to be blood sugar levels and weight. Both important, of course, but there is more to a person than that. I happened to have spinal and nerve injuries, which he seemed quite disinterested in and referred me to neurological specialties. When I was in severe pain as a result from one of the drugs used to treat my Restless Leg Syndrome-he could not have cared less.
