This was really cool place to visit! We got up to the north frequently but never seen this before! This is really neat and a cool stop for sure. It's on a campground in case anyone wants to spend the night. $10 per car to visit the troll. Well worth it if you have a family. It opened up a can of worms. I did not realize there were so many of these! Some are temporary and others are permanent. This one has been here since 2023 I believe! They have merch as well.
Benny was fabulous! It’s $10/car to visit & the walk probably took us 5-10 min through the campground. Parking is a smidge tough if you have a travel trailer/rv but we were able to park in a lot down the road a bit.
Went to see Benny the Beardfisher. I loved it. The only negative is we went around 430pm, end of May and the sun was setting behind it so it was hard to get a great pic. If you want good pics go in the morning if you can .
Cute campground with very knowledgeable and accommodating owners. We did the two and a half mile float on kayaks and we could not have asked for a better day. Would recommend 10 out of 10!
Stopped in at Northland Outfitters Campground & Canoe / Kayak Livery to see Benny the Beard Fisher Troll. Be sure to ask the owners the story about how the troll is at their campground. The campground is beautiful and the people there were wonderful. If i get back to this area, I will definitely stay here over a hotel and enjoy what nature has to offer.
