Hello. I am not one to normally write negative reviews. However, the last couple of years watching my dad suffer at the hands of a “professional,” I can’t help but inform others of the neglect my dad has faced from this “doctor.” Dr. Benns is not a thoughtful, caring doctor. My dad had a hernea the size of a watermelon. Dr Benns removed my gallbladder after being admitted to the ER with abdominal pains. He was very thorough and patient oriented

I had been pushed from one office to another at U of Lou and at Norton hospital. Finally the last Dr refered me to Dr. Benns, thankfully she did. He saved my life . I had a 40.5 lb hernia caused by bad surgery in another state. Dr Benns was the only Dr out of 4 that explained my situation, my complications and gave me a surgery. No mess on fuss. Dr Benns is very hands on and is very skilled. I would rate him as one of the best surgeons I've ever met in my life. Thank you Dr. Benns for being there for me or I would have died.... read more

waited 10 mins in waiting after signing in got taken to a room was in there maybe 10 mins before dr BENNS came in with a great demeanor about himself we talked about what MY SCANS SHOWED ABOUT THE AND WHAT MY OPTIONS AND WHAT HE SUGGESTED SURGERY ON TRYING TO REPAIR THE HERNIA AND GETTING MY BOWEL OUT OF THE HERNIA ITS SELF WITHOUT DAMAGING IT i AGREED WITH HIS ACCESSMENT AND WE SCHEDULED SURGERY
