Welcome to Bennetts Creek's Home away from Home! We are a boarding facility that offers high quality services to our guests and clients. Home Away From Home was created by the doctors of Bennetts Creek Veterinary Care because they wanted to take their quality services to a new level. Home away from Home is a renovated ranch style house to fit the needs of our canine and feline family members.

RecommendedOutstanding care to the fur babies we love. They know our babies as well as we do. From favorite toys (Kong ball) to favorite activities, anything with water from sprinklers to pools. Our dogs do a happy dance as soon As we drive up. We have tried a few other places but this the one with the best care and love for our family

We absolutely love the staff and family of Bennett’s Creek Home Away From Home! Our 8 month old chocolate lab Chipper loves when we tell him he gets to go play with his friends, and we get updates every time we pick him up on how he did and who he played with that day. He’s such a social dog, this has been great for him and for us! We trust the team fully with our big pup, and look forward to continuing our relationships there with any future pups as well!

Our Gabe loves to go play with his friends every day at Bennets Creek Home away from home. Everyone there takes amazing care of all the puppies- we know he is safe and taken care of with love!! Best Daycare in town!!
Our doggies always return home happy and healthy after their stay. The staff is friendly, helpful and loving.
My puppy goes to daycare and boarding here. He get so excited when we pull in the lot, and I feel so comfortable leaving him with the staff at HAFH. They seem to love my pup as much as I do!
Caring providers for my JoJo and they don’t mind if you call to check on them when your fur baby is away from you
We have had our dogs at Hone Away from Home for 4 years and this is the longest time we have boarded them and we have been happy with the services. Our dogs run to the door and get excited when we tell them they are going to Day care or the kennel. Buddy and Millie have a second home
we used BCHAFH for years when we lived in nansemond shores. left our dogs with confidence they would be given the best of care. we retired to WV several years ago but still appreciate the love and care Betsy and Luke received.
My puppy absolutely loves Bennett’s creek home away from home. The people who work there are awesome and he always comes home worn out! Highly recommend!
