Texas-style barbecue is king of the smoked-meat hill at this regional outfit. – In Short Tasty pork ribs are the big draw: hickory-smoked, basted for hours and served with the sauce on the side. Pork shoulders, chicken and beef brisket also get the hickory treatment and a slathering of Bennett's sweet, basic western sauce. For nonribsters there are aged steaks -- also cooked over hickory -- chicken, salmon and sandwiches. Homemade sides include taters, slaw and hearty beans, which are dense with meat and flavor.

Yummy... – Coming from Texas, I would give Bennet's an A-One rating. From the time you get out of your car the smell is enticing. By the time you get to the door, your mouth is watering. The waitstaff is friendly and efficient. The food lives up to the aroma one gets from the beginning. Best BBQ this side of Texas where BBQ is done right.

Hit the Spot! – I had a craving and Bennett's deffinately satisfied. The BBQ beef sandwich melted. I left completely satisfied and am looking forward to coming back.
